Terms of Service

The terms and conditions governing your use of our services.

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of pet waste removal services provided by Tidewater Pet Waste Removal Company ("we," "us," or "our"), as well as your access to our website at tidewaterpetwaste.com. By requesting or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Services

Tidewater Pet Waste Removal Company provides residential pet waste removal services in Chesapeake, Virginia Beach, and Norfolk, Virginia. Services include:

  • Weekly and bi-weekly recurring yard cleanup
  • One-time cleanup visits
  • Move-in / move-out cleanup
  • Optional add-on services (yard deodorizing, gate sanitation, etc.)

Service offerings, pricing, and availability are subject to change at our discretion. We will notify existing customers of material changes to their service plans with reasonable advance notice.

2. Scheduling & Access

By scheduling recurring service, you authorize Tidewater Pet Waste Removal to access your property (specifically the yard/service area) on the agreed-upon service days. You are responsible for:

  • Ensuring gate access is available on scheduled service days (unlocked gate, shared access code, etc.)
  • Securing any aggressive or unrestrained animals that may pose a safety hazard
  • Notifying us of any hazards, restrictions, or special instructions for your property

If our technician cannot safely access your yard on a scheduled visit day, we reserve the right to skip that visit and bill for it as scheduled, unless you notified us at least 24 hours in advance.

3. Billing & Payment

  • Recurring service plans are billed monthly in advance via secure online invoice.
  • One-time services are billed at the time of booking or upon completion, as agreed.
  • We accept all major credit and debit cards.
  • There are no setup fees, initiation fees, or hidden charges.
  • Invoices are due upon receipt. Accounts more than 15 days past due may result in service suspension.

4. Cancellation Policy

We operate on a month-to-month basis with no long-term contracts. You may cancel your recurring service at any time by providing at least 5 days' written notice before your next billing cycle. Cancellation requests can be submitted by email or phone.

There are no cancellation fees.

If you need to skip a single visit, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. We will adjust your billing accordingly for that visit.

5. Satisfaction Guarantee

We stand behind every service visit. If you are not satisfied with the quality of a cleanup, contact us within 24 hours of the completed visit and we will return to re-service your yard at no additional charge.

This guarantee applies to service quality and does not cover circumstances outside our control (e.g., areas inaccessible due to locked gates, obstructions, or animal activity between visits).

6. Weather Policy

We work in light rain and mild weather. In the event of severe weather (thunderstorms, tropical weather, extreme heat advisories, or hazardous conditions), we may reschedule your visit to the next available day. We will notify you of any weather-related rescheduling in advance.

7. Liability Limitations

While we take great care on every visit, Tidewater Pet Waste Removal Company shall not be liable for:

  • Pre-existing damage to property, landscaping, or structures
  • Damage caused by conditions you failed to disclose (e.g., unstable ground, hidden hazards)
  • Injury to persons or animals that are unsecured or present in the service area during a visit
  • Indirect, consequential, or incidental damages arising from our services

Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the most recent service visit.

8. Liability

Tidewater Pet Waste Removal Company takes care to protect your property during every service visit. Any concerns about damage or incidents should be reported to us directly at tidewaterpetwaste@gmail.com.

9. Website Use

The content on our website (text, images, logos, and design) is owned by Tidewater Pet Waste Removal Company and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without our written permission.

You agree not to use our website in any way that is unlawful, harmful, or that could damage our reputation.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Chesapeake, Virginia, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after any updates constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes.
